01 · Setting up

MetaTrader 5 with the PlotMyTrade EA
Works on Windows, the Mac app or a VPS. Nothing else to install.
- 1Download the EAOne small file that runs inside MetaTrader 5.
- 2Put it in MetaTrader 5File, Open Data Folder, then MQL5 › Experts. Refresh Expert Advisors in the Navigator.
- 3Allow it to reach PlotMyTradeTools, Options, Expert Advisors: allow WebRequest for the PlotMyTrade address.
- 4Add a connector and get a pairing codeThe code looks like K7QM-2XPD. It works once, for 15 minutes.
- 5Drop it on a chart and paste two thingsOn the Inputs tab, paste the PlotMyTrade address and the pairing code. Within a minute it shows Online. The last 90 days import, then new trades every 5 minutes.
