Connect MetaTrader 5 or cTrader from Connections, or add a trade by hand. Imported history appears as soon as the first sync finishes. TradingView alerts are linked to the trades they lead to.

Yes. You can add trades manually and journal them. Analytics work the same way on manual trades.

In Connections, add a connector and give it a name. You get a code like K7QM-2XPD that works once, for 15 minutes. Paste it into the PlotMyTradeConnector EA on a chart.

The first MT5 sync imports the last 90 days, as far back as MetaTrader holds. After that, new trades come in every 5 minutes while MetaTrader is open.

Orders, deals and positions are different things in MT5. PlotMyTrade puts them together into completed trades, and skips duplicates.
ConnectionsIs a TradingView alert counted as a trade?
No. An alert is a signal or a request. It becomes a trade only after your trading platform confirms the fill.

No. The journal is saved apart from the trade. Prices, volume and costs come from your platform.

A pattern based on fewer than 30 trades is marked as a small sample. Treat it as something to watch, not a rule.

You do, directly. Add a key from your own AI provider in Settings and pay them for what you use. No plan includes AI usage.

No. Administrators do not have access to your API keys, private journal entries or trading account credentials.
